Key Risk Intelligence Professional Sought
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our financial crime risk assessments team as a key advisor. This role will play a critical part in driving better outcomes for customers by putting a sharper focus on risk management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing NAB's financial crime risk intelligence capability across intelligence collection, prioritisation and tradecrafts. They will also generate strategic and operational risk intelligence supporting business risk decisions and ensuring regulatory expectations are met.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement NAB's financial crime risk intelligence capability.
* Generate strategic and operational risk intelligence.
* Provide expert advice on threats, vulnerabilities, likelihood and harms posed by criminal exploitation of NAB products and channels.
* Contribute to the identification of risks, risk indicators, typologies and other trends.
This is a 12 or 24 months fixed-term opportunity based in Melbourne, Australia. To be successful in this role, you will need:
Requirements
* Strong experience in financial services, government or regulatory environments with exposure to risk management.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic reporting.
* Deep expertise in financial crime risk assessments and/or intelligence.
* Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to identify patterns and emerging trends in large datasets. SQL and Advanced Excel capabilities highly regarded.
* Strong writing and communication skills to support senior decision-making and cross-sector collaboration.
* The ability to work with various stakeholders including government agencies, financial institutions and other external parties.
