The Role
Location: Melbourne, Australia
As a Retail Marketing Intern, you will be at the heart of our brand's presence in Australian retail stores. This is a hands‐on role designed to give you deep exposure to retail marketing, channel partnerships, and in‐store and brand activations — the critical touchpoints where our products meet customers.
You won't be siloed into one tiny task. Instead, you'll gain a 360° view of how a global brand executes at the retail level, working closely with Marketing teams, Sales teams, and external retail partners.
What You'll Be Doing
* Support the execution of retail campaigns across JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Bunnings, and other key retail partners
* Assist in coordinating product launches in-store — from point-of-sale materials to staff training support
* Optimize online product listings for retail and e‐tail partners (imagery, copy, pricing displays)
* Support in-store activations
* Conduct regular store visits across Melbourne to check merchandising standards and gather field insights
Trading expos & Brand Activation Planning
* Plan and execute events — from concept to on‐site delivery, including brand activations, trading expos, and training events
* Coordinate end‐to‐end event logistics: venue sourcing within retail partners, vendor management, travel planning, and on‐site support
* Develop event creative briefs and manage production of event materials (signages, displays, demo samples) with creative and print suppliers
* Track event performance and compile post-event reports with insights on customer engagement and sales impact
Channel Operations & Reporting
* Support retail reporting and performance tracking by channels
* Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies on retail asset production
* Help build and maintain retail dashboards
Cross‐functional Collaboration
* Work with Sales & GTM teams to align on retail priorities and joint business plans
* Support planning for retail events, trade shows, and partner meetings
* Participate in cross‐functional meetings and drive follow‐through on retail action items
What We're Looking For
* Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar
* Language: Fluent in English and Mandarin
* Mindset: Proactive, detail‐oriented, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‐paced environment
* Bonus: Interest in consumer electronics; valid driver's licence for store visits and commuting to the office
