The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR professional to join our team as HR Manager. Based onsite at Wellcamp Airport, this role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the continued success of an established and thriving Australian-owned company.
As HR Manager, you will lead the HR function, delivering best-practice people initiatives across a diverse range of business units. You will provide strategic and operational HR support covering the full employment life cycle, as well as drive key projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the HR function and provide strategic guidance to senior leaders across all business units.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on employee and industrial relations matters.
* Educate and support stakeholders on best practice people management and compliance requirements.
* Oversee the recruitment and retention of talent to support business objectives.
* Lead enterprise bargaining negotiations and related processes.
* Develop, review and implement company policies and procedures aligned to best practice and legislative requirements.
* Manage performance and remuneration review processes.
* Drive HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives from inception through to implementation.
* Manage workplace injuries and workers' compensation claims.
* Prepare and deliver regular HR metrics and reporting.

About You
You are a confident, people-focused professional with strong business acumen and a collaborative approach to HR. You bring proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
You will also demonstrate:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
* Previous leadership experience.
* A solutions-focused mindset and proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Fair Work Act and modern awards.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, employment law or related discipline.
* Resilience, adaptability and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Unrestricted driver's license.
* General Construction Induction (white card) - preferred.
