T-Rob Constructions is a North Queensland builder focused on custom homes and investment builds, with the occasional renovation. A strong portion of our work is timber framing —we take pride in doing it properly.
We're looking for a trade-qualified Leading Hand Carpenter who can lead from the front—hands-on, organised, and committed to quality workmanship.
The Role
* Lead a small crew and set the standard for quality, safety, and site culture
* Deliver carpentry works across residential new builds (custom homes and investment builds) and occasional renovations
* Read plans, set out, coordinate daily tasks, and keep the job moving
* Hands-on carpentry with a strong focus on timber frame new builds, including frames, trusses, cladding, eaves, decks/verandahs)
* Communicate clearly with the director, clients, and trades
* Keep sites clean, safe, and organised with professional handovers
About You
* Trade-qualified carpenter with solid residential building experience
* Confident leading a crew and taking ownership of outcomes
* High attention to detail—quality workmanship, no shortcuts
* Reliable, honest, and consistent with a strong work ethic
* Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and contributes ideas
* Respectful and professional with clients and trades
Essential Requirements
* Carpentry trade qualification
* White Card
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
* Ability to interpret plans and complete set-out accurately
* Own tools suitable for residential carpentry work
Highly Regarded
* Experience supervising apprentices or mentoring younger carpenters
