Harper’s Health is a vibrant, values-led allied health clinic with locations in East Maitland and Morpeth. We provide Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Behaviour Support, and Clinical Social Work services to children, young people, and families across the Hunter region.
We pride ourselves on our warm culture, supportive team, and meaningful impact — and we’re looking for a current Administrative Assistant to help keep our clinics running smoothly.
About the Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional client service and seamless clinic operations. You'll be part of our friendly admin team and work closely with our Practice Manager and clinical staff to support the day-to-day flow of our busy practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting clients and managing appointment bookings
- Handling phone and email enquiries
- Supporting clinicians with scheduling and documentation
- Processing Medicare and NDIS claims
- EFTPOS and cash handling
- General admin and reception duties
What We’re Looking For
We're seeking someone who is organised, approachable, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Availability between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Prior administrative experience (Allied Health or Disability Services a bonus)
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc.)
- Familiarity with scheduling software (Splose or similar preferred)
- Basic understanding of Medicare and NDIS processes
- High attention to detail and outstanding time management
- Team player with a warm and professional approach
- Valid Driver’s Licence
