Academic Leadership Opportunity
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the school's learning and teaching programs, driving academic excellence, and fostering spiritual growth and personal development among students.
This position reports directly to the Head of College, Learning and Wellbeing, and involves collaborating with senior leaders to support excellence in learning and teaching and student support processes.
* Lead the designated curriculum area(s) taught in the school, applying contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through professional development of teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility.
* Supervise and induct teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility, analysing student performance data and addressing areas of concern through appropriate interventions.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to drive improvement in student outcomes, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
To be successful in this position, you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience, including:
* Developed work programs in alignment with national, state, and local requirements.
* Driving the assessment and moderation process when developing new programs.
* Leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area.
* Stakeholder engagement fostering collaboration and transparency.
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment and current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
