Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving sales, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring an excellent customer experience within our flooring store.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
* Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their flooring needs.
* Provide expert advice on various flooring options, features, and benefits.
* Effectively communicate product specifications, pricing, and promotions.
* Close sales and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
* On site measuring (in home)
Administrative Duties:
* Manage and organize the showroom, ensuring a neat and attractive display of flooring products.
* Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain and update customer records in the database.
* Assist in inventory management, including restocking and organizing merchandise.
* updating pricing in our point of sale system
Coordination and Communication:
* Collaborate with the installation team to schedule and coordinate flooring installations.
* Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members.
* Provide timely updates on order status and delivery schedules.
Problem Resolution:
* Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
* Work collaboratively with the team to find solutions to challenges that may arise during the sales and installation process.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in sales and customer service, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Education and Experience:
* Previous flooring industry experience will be highly regarded
* Previous experience in a sales.
