Job Opportunity: Construction Management Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Administrator to join our team in Port Melbourne.
This is a full-time position that involves working from our head office, with occasional trips to job sites around Melbourne. As a construction administrator, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring a thorough understanding of project details and client needs.
2. Reviewing, approving, and negotiating contracts and contract terms.
3. Creating budgets, issuing purchase orders, and approving suppliers' invoices.
4. Managing project finances, tasks, and timelines.
5. Completing weekly project reports and project forecasting.
6. Assisting the Operations Manager/Project Manager/Site Foreman in managing project details, including programs, schedules, deliverables, and resources.
7. Liaising with clients, consultants, trades, and suppliers.
To be considered, you must possess the following skills and experience:
* A degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying, or equivalent diploma-level qualifications, or relevant experience in a similar role.
* High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.
* Experience in Contract Administration.
* Proficiency in project planning, drawings knowledge, and document management.
* Financial planning and budgeting skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Full Driver's License.
