Additional Educator
Right now, we're looking for an Additional Educator for our Bellambi Community preschool – an 'Exceeding NQS' rated service in Bellambi. We earned our current rating of Exceeding against the National Quality Framework by providing a welcoming and safe environment which supports inclusion and diversity. We offer open plan classrooms to facilitate all types of learning, and our great facilities include a large natural outdoor play area with a creek bed, fort, slide and swings! The educators at Bellambi Point Preschool pride themselves on the relationships they build with the children & their families, working together to create the best early learning experience for each and every child. We hold strong community partnerships like our relationship with the University of Wollongong's Early Start Program. This allows us to have access to the latest in technology and digital media through our smart board, smart table, iPads, and Apple TV Equipment. We work closely with our local primary schools to provide an effective transition to school program, which nurtures physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development.

This starts with ensuring the people we select to work here will contribute to our child safe culture. So during the recruitment process we conduct a range of pre‐employment checks. To assist us with this, you will need:
* A cleared valid for paid work, NSW working with Children's Check (WWCC)
* A cleared National Criminal Record Check
* Demonstrated commitment to protecting all children from abuse, harm and neglect.
* Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
* Evidence of completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
* Details of a minimum two referees, where one must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace.
