The Role
* Plan all activities related to the Independent System Monitoring (ISM).
* Verify compliance efficiency of the design organisation.
* Verify compliance efficiency of the design suppliers.
* Survey any corrective actions.
* Perform audits.
* Manage all corporate engineering governance functions associated with NASPO engineering support and design activities. Specifically these governance functions are related to compliance with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASRs) and cover both NASPO internal engineering management systems/stakeholders and external contractors/support organisations.
* Develop and maintain all internal and external compliance plans and programs, lead compliance activities, provide subject matter expertise related to DASR compliance and manage third party compliance interface with external regulatory bodies/stakeholders.
* Provide ongoing support to FAA SQNs for the MH-60R and EC-135 capabilities ensuring Military Airworthiness Reviews are conducted on time, meeting the required DASR standard.
* Liaise, manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a mixed environment including our customer and key industry partners.
About our Team
Your position will be part of the Executive team residing within the NASPO Technical/Engineering Services and Support Unit (TESSU). This unit is comprised of specialised aviation engineering design and technical personnel responsible for providing core engineering design and technical support services for NASPO managed Aviation platforms.
TESSU comes under direct management of the NASPO Chief Engineer and provides the central engineering resources for NASPO to provide Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) authorised Rotary Wing Design Organisation services (Part 21J) to the Navy Fleet Air Arm.

* Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb detail and disseminate information across the internal and external organisations to develop and foster stakeholder relationships .

* Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, managing a variety of concurrent tasks under competing time pressures.
