Reporting to the Area Manager, you will coordinate works that span industrial demolition and installation, Scaffolding, Heavy Crane lifts (> 200 T), NDT and Inspections, Civil demolition and installation, and Off-site Overhauls.
In addition, Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) and Electrical, Instrumentation and Control (EIC) Construction Coordinators are assigned to Plant Areas to perform construction coordination for a discreet portion of area-based scope.
Responsibilities Co-ordinating and managing all construction activities on a massive industrial manufacturing project; focusing on safety and ensuring the project risks are identified and managed.
Managing the day-to-day construction work and procurement activities, resource/application requirements and project issues.
Managing internal and external stakeholders' relations with sub-contractors, the client and internal staff.
Coordinating sub-contractors and the quality of their work.
Providing accurate input into forecasting of the program resource & financial requirements You will possess 10+ years of experience co-ordinating site works for capital projects or maintenance activities in heavy industry Experience in the planning, management and delivery of major plant outages Sufficiently broad understanding of engineering, construction and commissioning to allow safe integration of construction and project workstreams Experience gained whilst working in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities and associated infrastructure.
