Associate Consultant at Gough RecruitmentSeeking an experienced General Manager to join a respected firm. Competitive compensation & flexible work options, including remote work. Apply now!Base pay range$180,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yrKey Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership to ensure the efficient, safe, and effective delivery of projects in alignment with company culture.Manage and coordinate internal and external project resources for optimal efficiency and performance.Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure successful delivery within scope, cost, and compliance standards.Oversee project management activities, ensuring accurate forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting.Ensure all monthly reporting obligations are completed, including progress updates and reports to senior leadership.Drive workforce planning initiatives, collaborating with HR to address current and future staffing needs.Enhance business operations by identifying and implementing process and system improvements.Facilitate collaboration between leadership teams to ensure consistency, innovation, and responsiveness to market trends.Promote industry best practices, professional integrity, and knowledge sharing within the organisation.Uphold organisational values, adhere to the Code of Conduct, and comply with company policies and procedures.Skills Required:Excellent people skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a dynamic senior leadership team.Bachelor of Engineering required.Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset for business growth and sustainability.Proven industry experience with solid or developing expertise in management roles.Ability to develop and maintain effective networks with internal stakeholders, contractors, and industry colleagues.Strong knowledge of systems and procedures relevant to the geographical remit, with practical application of key principles.Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, plan workloads, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives.Highly adaptable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments while maintaining focus on clarity and solutions.Resourceful in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems for operational efficiency.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify underlying trends or issues.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.Apply below in strict confidence or call Harry Presdee on 0423 051 339Please note that due to a high number of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
