Clinical Educator


Role Overview

This position plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs, focusing on enhancing patient care quality, staff safety, and adherence to industry protocols.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver annual competency training, ensuring compliance with national standards by assessing staff.
2. Create new staff induction programs, including final assessments to confirm readiness for deployment.
3. Lead the development of a 12-month training schedule, aligning with business objectives.
4. Collaborate with management, clinicians, and quality managers to identify staff training needs or areas of risk.
5. Design tailored training programs addressing specific skills and gaps.
6. Develop content for new equipment and work methods, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Oversight of online training platform content creation and maintenance.
8. Participate in clinical reviews to identify training opportunities and improvements.
9. Ensure accurate recording and reporting of staff attendance and training assessments.
10. Prepare documents for leadership meetings.
11. Identify process improvements, ensuring patient-centric processes.
12. Promote a customer-focused culture aligned with organizational values.
13. Maintain a safe, compliant, and respectful work environment, addressing issues promptly.
14. Encourage staff compliance with clinical and legislative protocols.
15. Lead projects enhancing business functionality and safety.
16. Mentor and train staff during on-road duties.
17. Assist with interviews, assessments, and new staff orientation as needed.
18. Audit staff, policies, and procedure compliance with national standards.


Requirements:

* Effective task management and deadline handling.
* Approachable communication style and stakeholder relationships.
* Proven experience in patient care.
* Leadership skills to facilitate learning environments.
* Background in patient transport.
* ATA qualifications met.
* Clinical Instructor qualification (preferred).
* Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training (preferred).
