As the Demi Chef in our Events kitchen, you will be given the responsibility of supporting our Chef de Cuisine Jose Soulard, ensuring consistency in high-quality product and service standards. Collaborating with our talented chefs, you will contribute to the creation of innovative and flavorful culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression. A few of your responsibilities: Assist the Chef de Cuisine in the day-to-day running of the Events kitchen Take ownership of your designated workstation Ensure the quality and consistency of all food leaving the kitchen Support the Commis' and Apprentice Chefs in the brigade What are we looking for: Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Full work rights and flexible availability over a 7-day roster Comprehensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, international cuisines, and food preparation methods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Passion for culinary arts and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
