Overview
The BelRose Group has been exclusively engaged by Carpentaria Disability Services to appoint a Chief People Officer. This executive leadership position will guide workforce strategy and organisational culture across one of the Northern Territory's most established disability service providers.
Carpentaria Disability Services is a not for profit organisation delivering allied health, disability support and community programs for children, young people and adults. With more than fifty years of service, the organisation operates across urban, regional and remote communities in the Northern Territory. At its heart, Carpentaria is dedicated to enabling independence, enhancing quality of life and supporting people to engage in their communities.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of the organisation wide people and culture strategy
* Provide strategic workforce advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team
* Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, retention and succession initiatives
* Lead industrial relations, employment framework compliance and workforce governance
* Guide organisational culture initiatives that strengthen engagement and staff wellbeing
* Oversee human resources policies, systems and reporting across all programs
* Support leaders to build capability, performance and accountability within their teams
Ideal profile
* Degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Development or a related field
* Demonstrated executive level experience leading people and culture functions
* Strong knowledge of industrial relations and employment legislation within complex organisations
* Experience supporting geographically dispersed or multi site workforces
* Ability to influence executive stakeholders and guide organisational change
* Strong leadership capability with a collaborative and ethical approach
* Commitment to supporting purpose driven organisations and community impact
