Contract Manager - Go West - BHP Bussing Operations
Join a Leading Transport Provider Supporting a Major Resources Client in the Pilbara
Go West Tours is seeking an experienced and results-driven Contract Manager to oversee one of our largest and most strategically important client contracts — the BHP bussing services contract in the Eastern, Central and Northern Newman region. This role offers the opportunity to lead and optimise end-to-end site operations across multiple remote sites in a dynamic and safety-critical environment.
You'll work in close partnership with BHP stakeholders and our operations team to ensure the reliable, safe, and compliant delivery of people transport services, while building a strong culture of safety and field leadership excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the delivery of all contractual transport services to BHP across multiple sites
* Serve as the primary site-based point of contact for the client, ensuring positive and productive relationships
* Oversee daily transport operations and ensure alignment with service level agreements and KPIs
* Drive high-performance culture through field leadership, operational discipline, and continuous improvement
* Ensure safety is a top priority through incident management, verification activities, and proactive risk control
* Collaborate with internal teams including HSE, HR, Fleet and Head Office to deliver integrated operational support
About You
* Demonstrated experience in contract or operations management, ideally in a FIFO or remote site-based environment
* Proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver on contractual obligations
* Strong understanding of transport, logistics or similar high-compliance operational environments
* Confident leader with the ability to manage teams, performance and safety in a complex operational setting
* Knowledge of HSE, risk management and field leadership practices essential
Preferred Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Transport, Logistics or related fields
* Certificate IV in Leadership & Management
* ICAM or similar incident investigation training
