* Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off | 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

What You'll Do – Shift Technician Role
You will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation.
This position is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function, responsible for technical maintenance services in a critical client environment.
Operational Responsibilities
* Ensure that maintenance activities within the buildings comply with Health and Safety, business risk, and 100% uptime criteria.
* Maintain high standards of response for asset performance, completing assigned work and handling abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues.
* Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance on HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant/equipment, and HVAC mechanical cooling/heating systems as determined by CMMS work orders.
* Monitor BMS for running and alarm conditions when required.
* Conduct building walk‐rounds, take meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and other electrical equipment to monitor capacity.
* Investigate faults, identify root causes, and implement remedies.
* Prepare accurate and timely service/incident reports as required.
* Ensure corrective/repair work complies with current regulations.
* Assist with equipment installation works and asset data capture when required.
* Participate in the emergency call‐out roster, providing cover for weekends and team member absences.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the building(s) infrastructure, layouts, functions, and complexities.
* Deliver effective communication through advice, review, leadership, and direct contribution to team meetings, briefings, correspondence, monthly and ad‐hoc reporting.
* Act as a point of contact during significant events or multi‐discipline technical escalations within the sites.
* As necessary, participate in business continuity plans the team may be involved in.
* Ensure data centre operations and CBRE business policies and processes are complied with at your sites, effectively communicated, implemented, and adhered to within the contract.
* Maintain a customer focus and foster effective relationships with key client contacts, ensuring SLA and KPI requirements within the Scope of Works are met and documented.
* Manage contractors/suppliers to maintain high standards in maintenance, repairs, and operations in line with agreements/SLAs.
* Promote and uphold CBRE core values, presenting a professional image on site at all times.
* Manage other tasks directed by the client.
* Escalate relevant matters to superiors promptly.

* Receive supplier quotes and upload onto the internal system for client approval.

* Provide expert knowledge, advice, or reliable performance in critical situations.
What You'll Need
* Valid ARC License.
* Minimum Certificate III qualification in Air‐Conditioning & Refrigeration / HVAC.
* 3–5 years of experience in air conditioning and refrigeration.
* Valid OH&S cards (optional).
* Additional technical training or certifications (advantageous).
* Valid Driver's License.
* Familiarity with CMMS and BMS systems – nice to have.
* Australian Citizenship – required for NV1 Clearance.
* White Card (optional but preferred).
