The Opportunity
An expanding med tech business is rolling out a new Orthopaedic reconstruction portfolio in Australia and is appointing a Territory Manager to launch and scale the Hip & Knee implant offering across Melbourne. This role acts as the primary presence in the region, with backing from an established national team operating in a separate product line.
Key Priorities
* Territory Development
o Grow awareness and adoption of the Hip & Knee reconstruction range across public and private hospitals in Melbourne and regional Victoria
o Build long term clinical credibility with surgeons, nursing teams and theatre staff
o Provide in theatre case support and deliver structured product education
* Commercial Leadership
o Take full ownership of territory planning, pipeline development and revenue delivery
o Lead account strategy across hospitals and engage effectively with procurement functions
o Collaborate with distributor partners where required
* Market Intelligence
o Monitor procedure volumes, referral patterns and competitive activity
o Maintain detailed insight into hospital structures, decision makers and evolving market dynamics
* Professional Standards
o Operate with a strong compliance mindset and adhere to internal and local governance frameworks
About You
* At least three years experience selling Hip & Knee implants
* Strong recent exposure to operating theatre environments
* Proven ability to build trusted relationships with surgeons and hospital stakeholders
* Comfortable working independently with responsibility for territory growth
* Prior experience working alongside distributors is advantageous
