Job Description
A vacancy will be available for an unaccredited Registrar in Cardiothoracic Surgery at a tertiary care facility for the entire state of Tasmania. The Registrar would have a good all-round exposure to Cardiothoracic surgery, managing private and public inpatients and outpatients within the Hospital and providing after-hours emergency cover as determined by the Unit.
Responsibilities
* Peri-operative management of patients
* Outpatient clinics
* Operative surgery
* Teaching and supervising interns and medical students who rotate through the unit
Requirements
* General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable)
