Project Cost Management Specialist
Austral Construction seeks a skilled Project Cost Management Specialist with civil background experience to join their team.
As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed cost control systems for labor, plant, subcontractors, materials, and overheads. Your expertise in cost management will ensure that projects are delivered within agreed budgets and resources.
You will validate and track variations, claims, and approved changes, providing early warnings on budget overruns, cost risks, and performance issues. Additionally, you will prepare weekly and monthly project cost reports, dashboards, and performance summaries to support audits, cost reviews, and compliance with financial procedures.

Requirements:
* Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in civil construction projects.
* Ability to communicate complex cost information clearly.
* Team player mindset with strong internal and external relationships.
* Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
