About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to join the Asset Management team based at our Rockhampton processing site in QLD.
Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, the role will be responsible for leading the mechanical maintenance team, coordinating repairs, preventative programs, and initiatives aligned with group strategies. The successful candidate will ensure health and safety practices are followed and support additional training to eliminate potential risks.
The role also involves engaging internal and external stakeholders and working with our Environmental Officer to implement and monitor practices to minimize environmental harm.
About You
Existing Trade Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in refrigeration, wastewater, steam generation, and environmental technology management
Current driver's license
Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and technical skills
Experience in an export meat processing plant
Proven management success in leading a repair and maintenance team
Advanced computer literacy skills
Design and technical drawing skills
Knowledge of Export Meat Orders related to export abattoir construction and maintenance
