Responsibilities
* Manage day‐to‐day operations and ensure the quality and standards of the hotel are met.
* Assist guests through the check‐in and departure process.
* Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts by negotiating with relevant parties.
* Supervise crew staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met, focusing on attention to detail.
* Act as a thoughtful and energetic leader by providing motivation and support to the team.
* Handle general enquiries, engaging and serving guests with a playful and thoughtful approach.
* Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, knowing it inside and out to enhance the guest experience.
* Build and strengthen relationships with existing guests to provide stays that are very much out of the ordinary, enabling future booking.
* Set the vibe by planning and executing team‐building activities so the crew feels part of Moxy's open and playful work environment.
* Understand the impact of the department's operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manage to achieve or exceed those goals.
Qualifications
* Experience with OPERA property management system or similar.
* Working rights in Australia.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar managerial role.
* Enthusiastic about escalating your career.
* Self‐motivated, driven and energized in a fast‐paced environment.
* Armed with smart solutions and a can‐do attitude.
Benefits
Compensation: $76,500 to $80,000 per year + superannuation
Additional benefits are provided in accordance with company policy.
