Care Leadership Role
Our organisation is dedicated to providing exceptional aged care services in Australia, enabling older Australians to live and age positively. We support over 130,000 people across our retirement living communities and residential aged care homes.
We seek an experienced leader to manage the delivery of high-quality care at one of our residential aged care homes. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring residents receive person-centred care, facilitating their enjoyment of life within their capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality and personalised care to all residents
* Maintain knowledge of aged care sector standards and processes
* Implement continuous improvement principles in response to clinical and quality audits
* Develop, monitor, and implement nurse care plans, assessing, planning, and evaluating existing care plans
* Perform comprehensive assessments and investigate issues and incidents
* Ensure compliance with aged care standards and relevant policies and procedures
* Supervise, train, and mentor Registered Nurses (RNs) and Personal Care Workers (PCWs)
About You:
* Permanent Full-Time position
* Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
* Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience as an RN
* Experience as a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable)
* Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation, and auditing processes, and AN-ACC
* Personal and professional commitment to delivering high-quality care and continuous improvement
* Solid leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
