Overview

This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026. Coolbinia Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public Primary School, catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. We are set amongst native bushland and open spaces of Coolbinia, with a strong community and productive partnerships with organisations. Our experienced educators work with parents and the community to guide students to be the best version of themselves, developing leadership attributes and a love of learning.

The Role

The role requires a strong focus on customer service. The successful applicant should be professional, positive and friendly, with well-developed communication skills. The ideal candidate should work well in a team, display initiative and approach challenges with a growth mindset. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, flexibility to move between tasks and environments within the school, and the ability to deliver priority outcomes in a dynamic setting are highly desirable.

The successful applicant should have good interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and sound knowledge of using computers and a range of application software to complete daily tasks. Well-developed organisational skills and a commitment to timely task execution are advantageous.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.

* Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and/or preparing financial returns.
* Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
* Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in applying customer service principles and practices.
* Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and the ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
