Join to apply for the Project Worker role at Changing Lives.
Changing Lives is a nationwide charity helping people facing challenging circumstances to make positive change - for good. We believe everyone deserves a safe home, a rewarding job, and a life free from addiction or abuse. With the right support, anyone can change their life for the better.
Our services across the country assist thousands each year facing issues like homelessness, addiction, unemployment, criminal justice involvement, sexual exploitation, and domestic abuse. We focus on strengths and opportunities to support individuals in overcoming challenges and living successful, independent lives.
Our charity is powered by over 600 passionate colleagues in a diverse, inclusive environment, many with lived experience of the challenges faced by those we support. We seek committed, compassionate professionals eager to make a difference.
About The Service - Housing & Homelessness Services
A safe home is the foundation for building a better life. We support those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including rough sleepers, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, women, and young people. We believe accommodation should be welcoming and offer opportunities for growth, not just shelter.
Virginia House in Newcastle upon Tyne provides accommodation for individuals with complex needs. As a Support Worker, you'll join a dedicated team of 11, including 5 support workers. We provide training, reflective practice, and case reviews to support your development.
The Support Worker plays a vital role by providing information, advice, and guidance, helping service users live independently and address interconnected issues that bring them to us.
