The External Communications Manager plays a vital role in supporting the overall strategies and goals of this global FMCG organisation by effectively communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
This dynamic and influential role requires exceptional leadership, commercial, and communication skills.
**Your day to day**
- Developing and implementing effective external communications strategies and plans that align with regulatory and public affairs agendas
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation
- Leading efforts to integrate sustainability and corporate social responsibility into the company's communications strategies
- Managing a variety of key regulatory priorities, working closely with the business functions to discharge obligations around social awareness and responsibility
- Providing support and guidance to internal teams such as marketing, finance, and HR on communication-related matters
- Being recognised as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and delivering high-level support and advice to other areas of the business.
**About you**
- You will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing corporate or public affairs communications
- Be experienced dealing with stakeholders on controversial and complex issues and exposure to senior leaders at a regional or global level
- Have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to influence, persuade and present effectively to diverse audiences
