**Operations Manager**
**Savanna **is currently looking for an experienced **Operations Manager** to lead our Saxon Australia team, based in our Brisbane Office.
The Operation Manager is responsible for the Overall Operational and Financial results for the Australia Saxon Operation, and General Managerial responsibility for Saxon drilling rig operations, service quality, client relation, planning and safety are key priorities.

Previous Experience and Competencies:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as Operations Management, General Management in the Oil & Gas Drilling Industry. or equivalent position
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in Rig operations onshore and/or offshore, with a minimum of 3 years' experience as Rig Superintendent, Operations Support Management, or equivalent role.
- Must be able to understand the "multi-disciplinary" aspect of conducting Business and be familiar with all the Management disciplines: Technical Support, Procurement, Financial, Personnel and Marketing management.
- Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.
**What you'll be doing**:
As the Saxon Operations Manager you will be responsible:
- Overall Operational responsibility to the Saxon Australia Operation.
- Drive Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management.
- Lead, Mentor and Support the Operations Support Manager, Rig Superintendents and Rig Managers, and team.
- Ownership for annual budget and ensure the Rig have the right equipment's to perform activities required.
- Ensure that Company and Australia objectives are clearly defined and communicated to his team.
- Overall responsibility and accountability for Services quality and appraisals.
- Conduct regular field /rig visits.
- Review technical and operation problems.
- Is aware of most recent marketing information's and communicates this to upper Management.
- Monitor and follow-up the progress of Rig Engineer and Rig Technician. Review technical and operation problems.
