Forklift/Storeperson

Our Client
Our Client is a market leader in the manufacture of pantographs, rail electrification equipment and industrial products.
What You Will Be Doing
* Comply with and support of EHS & Quality requirements in accordance with clients policy and procedures
* Conduct material movements, forklift operations, goods receipting, and coordinate with logistics companies and/or suppliers for collection and despatch in accordance with relevant work instructions, stores processes, EHS and quality requirements
* Conduct stock takes and/or cycle counts
* Ensure all relevant documentation and data entry specific to the stores warehouse tasks and processes are completed accurately and in full
* Escalate and make recommendations to your direct manager regarding any EHS, quality, technical and continuous improvement ideas and/or issues that ariseSupport other Stores team members with any relevant process, procedures, and technical knowledge to support the achievement of Operations team goalsActively participate in team meetings and training
* Ensure the working environment, plant, tooling, and equipment is always maintained to a safe, clean, and orderly condition
* Ensure all plant, tooling and equipment has prestart checks and/or preventive maintenance carried out prior to use in accordance with relevant requirements
What Will You Need?
* Previous experience in a storeperson or warehouse role
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Relevant experience within a manufacturing or services warehousing environment
* Effective organisational, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills
* Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems
* Current Drivers & forklift license
* Currently Hold/Willing to obtain - First Aid, Fire Warden, Overhead Gantry Crane (desirable)
