Due to the continued growth an opportunity is now available for Fulltime Electrical & Automation Estimator to join our team. We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our respected organization. As an Estimator you will be responsible for tendering projects up to $2M, spanning across high end residential sectors and occasionally tendering in commercial and high-end marine. Reporting to the Director and Operations Manager and working closely with clients, project managers and pre-construction team to deliver accurate, competitive tenders, supported by established systems and processes. We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Electrical & Automation Estimator to be the backbone of our project lifecycle. As our Estimator, you won't just be crunching numbers; you'll be the bridge between a client's vision and our technical execution. You will analyze blueprints, collaborate with our team, and produce precise, competitive bids that reflect our standard of excellence.

Job Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in an estimating role
* Professional, reliable, and honest in your dealings
* Strong work ethic and delivers high quality workmanship
* Solution focused and resourceful
* Able to work independently and in a team
* Strong focus on customer satisfaction
* Able to trouble-shoot and problem solve
* Organized and Time Efficient
* Must hold current driver's license
* Must be Australian resident
* Must be well presented
* Will need to fit into an already existing, excellent, positive and long-term team
* A background in Electrical, a Trade Qualification, or significant experience in electrical/automation estimating
* Software Savvy: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., D-Tools JMS System) and a mastery of Excel.
* You're the person who catches the small error in a 50 page spec document
* The ability to explain a complex quote to a client with clarity and confidence
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing tender documents, specifications, and drawings to determine the scope of work.
* Quantifying materials, labour, and subcontractor requirements for both electrical power systems and complex automation framework
* Negotiating with suppliers to ensure we are utilizing the best components at the most competitive rates
* Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure a seamless \"hand-off\" from bid to build
* Identifying cost-effective alternatives or smarter technical approaches during the bidding phase
