The Department of Psychology, Counselling and Therapy is seeking a lecturer to join its team.
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to teach undergraduate psychology programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing curriculum, coordinating subjects, teaching, assessing and supporting students as they learn.
The lecturer will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding student experience and undertake scholarly work relevant to the development of learning and teaching in this discipline or professional field.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* PhD or Masters degree or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline area of psychology.
* Demonstrated ability to be effective in teaching and curriculum development in face-to-face, blended and/or online modes.
* Demonstrated ability to engage with and produce outputs related to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning or program improvement more generally.
* Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively and productively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
