An opportunity exists to join a growing international property and hospitality group with operations across Australia and the Asia Pacific. The business is part of a Singapore-based real estate developer with a strong track record in property investment, development, and hotel ownership. In Australia, the group operates established hotel assets and is expanding into serviced apartments and redevelopment projects. This role offers a chance to take ownership of a finance function within a fast-moving, project-driven environment.
The Senior Finance Manager will oversee financial operations across Australian business units, including hospitality, commercial, and retail assets.
You will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, including reporting, compliance, forecasting, and business partnering with operational leaders. The role also plays a key part in supporting strategic decisions, investment analysis, and group reporting requirements.
You will report to the Head of Finance (Australia) and work closely with local management and international stakeholders.
What you\'ll be doing
Financial Control & Reporting
* Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
* Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance standards.
* Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
* Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation processes.
Planning & Analysis
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles.
* Deliver management reports with meaningful financial insights.
* Monitor business performance and analyse key financial and operational drivers.
* Maintain rolling cashflow forecasts to support decision-making.
Business Partnering & Leadership
* Provide financial support for strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
* Partner with operational teams to drive performance improvement.
* Lead, coach, and develop members of the finance team.
Systems & Process Improvement
* Maintain and enhance financial systems, data integrity, and reporting tools.
* Drive process improvements and automation across finance functions
* Support ERP system optimisation and upgrades.
* Oversee AP, AR, and intercompany processes.
What we\'re looking for
* CA or CPA qualification (mandatory).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in finance, audit, or FP&A roles.
* Background in property, real estate, hospitality, or related industries preferred.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting capability.
* Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred; Opera or RMS advantageous).
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Hands-on, practical leadership style.
