About the job
Working on two of our most exciting accounts (Aldi &Metcash;), the role of National Account Manager plays a pivotal role to drive customer engagement and demonstrate your robust commercial acumen, whilst managing the forecast and delivery of financial performance on a monthly basis.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Lead and develop the customer relationships beyond the immediate commercial (buyer) relationship
- Deliver sales results in line with financial targets as well as delivering against key in store and online target metrics such as distribution, share of shelf, in store availability, position on shelf, promotional impact
- Champion the management and delivery of the Range Review process
- Manage verification of customer claims through the relevant internal and external systems for payment in line with budget and Danone process
- Play a leading role in the development of Danone's strategy and its execution
About you
An experienced Account Manager looking to step up, you will thrive on developing meaningful relationships both with key contacts for your account but also internally within the business. You will work in an agile method to navigate uncertainty and problem solve whilst also using your strong business acumen to identify any risk or opportunity.
Ideally you will have:
- Drive for results, willingness to learn and accountability
- Passion for development and in developing others
- A strong background in leading key accounts and stakeholder relationship management
- Preference placed on experience gained in any of the following: National Account Management (Grocery), Category Management or Key Account Management
- An understanding of the Dairy industry or a related category would be preferable
