Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our People Capability Command. This is a six‐month temporary vacancy with possibility for extension and a talent pool for other future opportunities that may arise.
HR Business Partners work with leaders across the organisation, providing workforce solutions across a diverse and operatively complex portfolio.
As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert, evidence‐based HR advice and business partnering to senior leaders. You will have a client‐centric consultancy approach, strengthening relationships, improving workforce capability, and delivering practical HR solutions aligned to organisational priorities.

* Delivering Masterclass sessions on HR topics to uplift workforce management capability
* Supporting consistent and high‐quality HR service delivery across the business

You are a confident and credible HR professional who thrives in a fast‐paced environment.
You Bring
* Strong experience in HR business partnering and consultancy within complex organisations
* Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders
* Deep understanding of industrial frameworks, legislation, and contemporary HR practices
* Exceptional communication, analytical and problem‐solving skills
