Our client, a well-established company, provides specialist compressed air equipment to all industry sectors across Australia. They are looking for full time skilled and experienced Service Technicians to join their dynamic team.
Working as part of a friendly team you should be experienced in servicing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing parts for a variety of portable and truck (or skid) mounted compressors, and construction air tools.
Responsibilities
* Analysing, diagnosing, modifying, repairing, or replacing parts and equipment working to minimise downtime.
* Maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and fitting hydraulic components of diesel–powered compressors and air tools attachments.
* Studying drawings to determine suitable material, sequence of operations, and machine settings.
* Dismantling, repairing and reassembling parts/components.
* Using oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding techniques to fit, replace, assemble, and repair metal parts including fabrication of parts, machinery and other equipment.
* Testing repaired parts for proper performance.
* Testing and repairing basic electrical circuits.
* Using computers and specialized tools to diagnose and repair faults.
* Inspecting equipment and machinery for faults.
* Following workplace Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) protocols.
Key Requirements
* You must have at least an AQF Certificate III, or at least two years of on‐the‐job training. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
* Good organisational skills with a "can do" attitude.
* Experience working in small to medium teams, undertaking highly task‐oriented engineering work.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Physically fit.
Excellent salary package + Super (Between $85,000 to $95,000 per annum plus superannuation).
