The Position
We are looking for multiple skilled and well-experienced Electronics Technician to join the team, based in Western Australia.
The business is a busy hub and as a consequence a team-player attitude will be a mandatory requirement.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Test and inspection of all Ampac Pcbs and Sub-assemblies;
Ability to carry out fault-finding and perform repairs, if necessary;
Ability to repair test jigs for Ampac Pcbs;
Reporting and documenting of system and design faults;
Set up and run production batches on a Printed Circuit Board (SMT);
Ensure that manufactured printed circuit boards are QA compliant
Maintain Inventory Accuracy of components;
Work with Production Engineering/Supply Chain on New Product Introduction.
Competency - To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Ability to use hand tools - electric screwdrivers, hand and electric-crimpers, etc;
Ability to read technical drawings;
Ability to read values of electronic components
Ability to follow and carry out quality control inspection:
Effective interpersonal & communication skills;
Able to work autonomously and set priorities;
Ability to solder;
Shall advice on non-conformances and assist with the corrective and preventive actions as defined;
Shall suggest improvements to their working practices and submit ideas as appropriate.
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience
Electronics Trade Certificate or equivalent;
Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Advantages & Working Conditions
Base salary of $55,000 -$60,000 per annum;
All entitlements as per the National Employment Standards;
No Shift Work;
Standard Hours - Commencing 7:00am - 3:06pm;
Occasional Overtime.
Salary: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
