About the roleWe are looking for a professional and organised Personal Assistant to provide high level administrative support to the Director and Staff Specialists within the Radiation Oncology Department at Calvary Mater Newcastle. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to manage confidential information with a high level of discretion. Your main duties will include:
* Provides comprehensive administrative assistance including; triaging telephone calls, patient and staff enquiries, collection and distribution of mail, preparing correspondence and documentation, filing, maintain calendars and email for other staff, arranging meetings, agendas and minutes, sending emails, arranging catering, preparation of presentations and conference material, journal searches and other administrative duties as directed by the Administration Department Lead and/or Director;
* Scheduling and rescheduling of patient appointments in accordance with Radiation Oncology business rules and clinical staff availability;
* Preparation and distribution of patient referrals and other relevant medical documentation and records.

* Highly organised and professional administrator.
* High attention to detail with strong time management skills.
* Have the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communicator.
Employment details
Salary Classification: Administration Officer Level 4 Year 1 - 2
Remuneration: $37.91 to $38.78 per hour + super + annual leave loading
