The Opportunity
Pindara Private Hospital is proud to be one of the few hospitals in Australia with a dedicated unit specialising in neurosurgery, vascular and breast/endocrine surgery. Our Neurosurgery Unit (3E) comprises a 25-bed ward supported by a four-bed close observation unit, delivering expert care to patients requiring complex neurological treatment.
We are currently seeking a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent part-time basis, working three-night duty shifts per week (60hrs per fortnight). You will be part of a highly skilled and collaborative neurosurgical team that values clinical excellence and a strong team culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Proven clinical experience.
* A strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient-focused care.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
Skills and Experience
* Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse.
* Minimum two (2) years of surgical experience.
* Neurosurgical experience necessary
* Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
* Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
* Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
