About the Role: As a Process Development Analyst, you'll play a key role in designing and improving how work gets done across the Building and Plumbing Commission. Working closely with business areas, project teams and senior stakeholders, you'll lead process mapping and improvement activities, facilitate workshops, analyse complex issues, and develop the policies, business rules and guidance materials that support operational delivery. You'll join the team at an exciting time. The BPC is continuing its transformation into a modern, harms-based regulator, creating unique opportunities to influence operating models, embed new ways of working and help shape the future state of the organisation. No two projects are likely to look the same. One week you may be facilitating workshops to redesign an end-to-end process, and the next you could be translating legislative change into practical business rules or supporting the implementation of enterprise process management tools such as Signavio. What we are looking for: We're looking for people who are curious, collaborative and comfortable working through ambiguity. You'll likely bring experience in process improvement, business analysis, policy development, project delivery or organisational reform. Most importantly, you'll enjoy partnering with stakeholders to solve complex problems and create practical solutions. You'll be successful if you can: Translate complex information into clear, practical processes and guidance Facilitate productive conversations that help stakeholders work through challenges and make decisions Balance strategic thinking with attention to detail Build trusted relationships across different teams and levels of an organisation Adapt quickly in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve and opportunities emerge Experience in regulatory environments, government reform, business process management or tools such as Signavio will be highly regarded, but we are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement and a genuine desire to improve how organisations operate. About the BPC BPC is Victoria's regulator for building and plumbing. It supports the growing Victorian community through the developments of harms-based regulation that is proactive and informed by data and intelligence.
