**How will I help?**
Your main responsibility will be working with the mortgage business to understand/refine requirements and reviewing production data.
**What you will do**
- Analyse business requirements and articulate complex technical requirements through collaboration with business users, technology groups and suppliers
- Lead and develop detailed data and system functional/non-functional specifications that will drive the desired business outcomes to ensure effective delivery of system specifications and/or Business requirements
- Recommend and justify the functional design to address the business needs to ensure the business understands the proposed design
- Supports the solution architect in understanding current state and impacts of solution architectures for programs, projects in other domains and complex projects
- Convert requirements into architectures and solution designs that make up the blueprint for a solution for projects that do not require involvement from a solution architect
- Engage with and support quality engineering and non-production environment team to schedule usage, uplift integrity and readiness of environment for testing
- Employ CI/CD and DevOps practices that are endorsed by Group Technology and ensure maximum leverage of existing platform services.
- Engage with and support release management team on implementation activities for project/program releases
- Contribute to quality and testing strategy and planning by engaging with testing SMEs, quality engineering leads and non-production environment team

**What do I need?**
- Must have a strong understanding of coding/SQL, strong comms, PHD in datascience if at a junior level, someone that has worked with a lot of data.
- Proven experience in understanding activities required to solve a problem
- Experience providing quality review of code and leading quality control initiatives
- Specialist knowledge in a technical specialism, such as a sub-domain or language
- Analysis, problem solving, troubleshooting and consultative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills using an open, clear and engaging manner
