About The Role
Karnet Prison Farm focuses on preparing prisoners for successful re-entry into the community when they are released, giving them job skills linked to industry and farming practices.
The role specific responsibilities include but are not limited to;
* Coordinating and directing the day to day operations of recreation services including preparing, planning and scheduling daily work activities for prisoners.
* Implementing and coordinating a mix of passive, individual and recreational programs and activities that address the needs and interests of the whole prisoner cohort.
* Instructing prisoners in sport fitness safety and the safe use of sport and recreational equipment
Eligibility
Permanent positions
– To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.

Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of twelve (12) months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent, fixed term, full time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
