We are seeking an Accounts Officer to join a well-established organisation based on the Gold Coast. This business is known for its professional culture and supportive team environment and is currently experiencing a period of increased workload. As a result, they require an experienced Accounts Officer to support the finance function on a temporary basis.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a range of accounting and finance support duties. This temporary role offers an immediate opportunity to step into a busy team and hit the ground running.Key responsibilities will include:
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
* Bank and account reconciliations
* Processing invoices and managing payment runs
* Assisting with month-end duties
* Responding to internal and external finance enquiries
* Providing general finance and administration support as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in an Accounts Officer or similar finance role
* Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable
* Confidence using accounting software and Excel
* High attention to detail and strong time management skills
* The ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly in a new environment
* Availability to commit to a temporary assignment
