Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Draftsman / Junior Mechanical Engineer, located at our Minto office, NSW. The role involves creating, interpreting, and analyzing mechanical, technical, and engineering drawings, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to develop detailed designs and diagrams. The individual will collaborate with engineering and project teams to support design projects and ensure designs meet project specifications and standards. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and revising designs as necessary, assisting in troubleshooting design issues, and ensuring adherence to best practices and industry guidelines and supporting the estimating team.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Mechanical Drawings and Engineering Drawings, with the ability to produce accurate and detailed plans.
* Strong skills in Technical Drawing, encompassing precision and attention to detail in drafting processes.
* Quoting/Tendering experience an advantage.
* Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and Design Engineering practices.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within engineering and project teams.
* Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Previous experience in mechanical drafting or engineering.
