Assistant Facility Manager - Aged Care - South Brisbane We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Facility Manager to support the leadership of a residential aged care facility and help drive high-quality, resident-centred care. This role would be ideal for someone who has previously worked in Hospitality/Hotel Services in Residential Aged Care. Overview Supporting the Facility Manager with the day to day operations of the home Opportunity to act up into the Facility Manager role when required Monday - Friday role - normal business hours $95-$100k super An organisation that likes to promote internally, future opportunities to step into a Facility Manager role We need someone who is strong with their leadership skills, confident in their ability and who can give firm directive to their team Extensive experience in hospitality and maintenance is required You'll be working with a fantastic Facility Manager, who's approachable, friendly and supportive. She is familiar with being an Assistant FM herself as she started out in this role and got promoted internally to her current FM position. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the Facility Manager with overall operations of the facility Acting as Facility Manager in their absence Co-ordinate tours of potential residents and families Manage the housekeeping and hospitality service operations Responsible for all auditing in relation to OH&S hotel services Staff on-boarding and mandatory training Ensure all staff have completed mandatory training Oversight of rostering, staffing, and workforce performance Building strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders About You You will bring: Experience in residential aged care in Hotel Services/Hospitality Manager role Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance Proven leadership and people management skills Occupational Health and Safety qualifications Excellent communication and organisational abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Business management qualification (highly regarded) Please Appy or send your resume through to: Marie Roberts : marie@mkrrecruitment.com.au / 0422 293 156
