What you'll be doing
Providing a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors, and assisting clinical staff in the care and comfort of patients
About You
You are a dedicated and highly capable security professional holding a current Class 1A Security Licence with the NSW Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED), a Senior First Aid Certificate, and a current valid driver's licence. You bring a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and high‑quality service.
Your experience includes effectively managing aggressive incidents, challenging behaviours, and responding confidently to duress situations. You remain calm under pressure and apply sound judgement to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff, patients, clients, and the public.
You work well under direction and thrive within multi‑disciplinary teams, contributing positively to workplace culture and operational outcomes. Your communication skills allow you to engage respectfully and clearly with people at all levels, including clinical staff, administrative teams, patients, and visitors.
You have a solid understanding of environmental cleaning requirements, work health and safety principles, safe manual handling, and infection control procedures, ensuring compliance with organisational and legislative standards.
