Due to an increase in construction projects in the Regional North Area of Victoria, we have a highly desirable opportunity to take up this Building Estimator role in our BENDIGO Office. This is a unique opportunity for you to secure work with a market leader initially with negotiable flexible work arrangements. You will be responsible for works carried out in the building estimating.
Reporting to the Building Estimator, your responsibilities will include: Troubleshooting potential site issuesEnsuring production work is carried out in a timely mannerResolve ordering oversights and or anomalies when identifiedOrder amendment as requiredProduce purchase ordersIn all aspects and areas of responsibility, continually look at better ways to carry out our businessAssist other Building Operational Support team members wherever possible with feedbackMaintaining a thorough knowledge of products, services and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders; andEnsuring relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved.

The successful candidate will have: Some residential estimating experience or reasonable trade background is an advantage and have done quotingAt minimum a Diploma in Building Construction is essential, a Degree in an equivalent course is an added advantageWorking knowledge of construction processes and detailsCompetent Microsoft Office suite computer skills, particularly in ExcelWorking knowledge of an estimating system (e.g. BusinessCraft, Timberline, HMS, Databuild and Precision) is an advantage; andA GREAT ATTITUDE
