Traffic Controllers – Immediate Start Available
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Traffic Controllers to join our dynamic traffic management team. As part of our safety-critical workforce, you will be responsible for managing the safe movement of vehicles, machinery, and pedestrians around roadworks, construction sites, and event locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control signs, cones, and barriers in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans
* Direct vehicles and pedestrians using stop/slow batons or portable traffic lights
* Ensure the safety of workers, road users, and the general public at all times
* Follow all relevant legislation, site procedures, and safety requirements
* Communicate effectively with site supervisors, crew members, and the public
Essential Requirements (Must Have)
* Valid Control Traffic with Stop/Slow Bat and Implement Traffic Management Plan tickets (TC2)
* Minimum 1 year of hands-on Traffic Controller experience (not newly qualified)
* Current White Card (Construction Induction)
* Full Australian Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport
* Own PPE
* Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
Pay & Benefits
* $30–$35 per hour + penalties + super
* Pay rates confirmed once shifts are booked
* Immediate start available for suitable candidates
Location & Hours
* Location: Dandenong, VIC
* Shifts available: Morning, day, afternoon, and night
* Roster: Monday to Friday with weekend work available
* Employment type: Ongoing casual
