We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the kitchen team, ensuring excellence and consistency in the product delivered to customers. This includes managing inventory levels, overseeing all back-of-house food and labor expenses, and implementing procedures to maintain high standards of presentation, sanitation, service, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a highly skilled and diverse team of chefs and kitchen staff
* Develop and implement menus that cater to a wide range of dietary needs and preferences
* Manage the recruitment, induction, training, and rostering of all kitchen team members
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food standards
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A relevant Certificate III Cookery qualification
* Extensive experience working as a Sous Chef or equivalent
* Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
