Dispute Resolution Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to provide administrative support to our lawyers in the Dispute Resolution department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing diaries, preparing legal documents, answering phones, liaising with clients, archiving files, and billing.
Main Responsibilities:
* Diary Management: Manage lawyer diaries and coordinate meetings and appointments
* Document Preparation: Prepare and draft legal documents, letters, and other correspondence
* Communication: Answer phones, respond to emails, and communicate with clients and colleagues
* File Management: Maintain and organize files, both physical and digital
* Billing and Administration: Process bills, manage trust accounts, and perform general administrative tasks
Requirements:
* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and management
* Organizational Abilities: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
* Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
