Electrical System Technician Job Description
This role supports the safe operation, maintenance, and fault rectification of Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) at Perth Airport.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain and troubleshoot BHS and PBB systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Rectify faults, breakdowns, and baggage jams efficiently and safely.
* Perform preventive maintenance in line with contractual requirements.
* Record all inspections, work performed, system data, and safety reporting for future reference.
* Supervise and assist maintenance personnel and contractors when necessary.
* FOLLOW airport security protocols, site policies, and technical procedures.
* Contribute to workplace safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
