Position Details
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendant to join our dynamic team at Pelican Waters Golf Club. This is a Permanent Part Time role working across a rotating Monday to Sunday roster. The position offers a minimum of 20 hours per week including weekdays, weekends, and event shifts. Applicants will be required to work Friday dinner service through to 10 pm. Availability across public holidays, weekends, and holiday periods is essential. You'll be responsible for delivering high‐quality food and beverage service across the café, restaurant, bar, and function spaces — ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
* Provide the highest quality service to customers through personalized service and handling enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
* Prepare, present and serve food items & beverages (including coffee & alcoholic beverages), including full restaurant table service.
* Handle all POS & EFTPOS transactions.
* Perform opening and closing duties for the Café, bar & restaurant as required.
* Assist in the set up, service and pack down of events/functions held at the Golf Club.
* Maintain cleanliness of food and beverage equipment along with presentation of function areas and cafe.
* Work collaboratively within a team environment, sharing a joint commitment to executing service to the highest level.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who shares our values and belief that respect, passion, community, impact & safety underpins all the work we do. To excel in this role, you will bring:
* Minimum 3 years Food & Beverage experience in either a Café, Restaurant, Bar or Event/functions environment.
* Experience in a table service environment is essential.
* Barista &/or cocktail-making experience highly regarded.
* Demonstrated commitment to delivering a professional and personalised customer service experience.
* Current Safe Food Handling Certificate essential.
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate essential.
* Current C Class driver's licence.
